Free Accounts

You may want to give your clients a FREE ACCOUNT, with full access and a "valid" subscription, like a special weekend deal, or a special VIP client, but not require them to add a card up front. This is also useful for giving your team members an unfettered account.

It's also one of the best ways to TEST the system without having to use a Credit Card (especially helpful with larger sized plans, active sites, and also those who have issues with missing Stripe ID fields); it's the new FREE ACCOUNTS functionality.

You will find this as a menu item here in your admin:

You can create any number of "custom URLS" to send to users or as special links in emails/funnel pages, that allow users to create actual accounts with full access, without using a Card.

Secret Key: This is the custom "slug" or URL that is used to send users to.

This could be a name, an event (like "BlackFriday" etc), only letters, numbers, and hyphens. No special characters or spaces.

Whatever code you use, the FREE link will be YOURDOMAIN.com/free/secretkey

So, if you created a secret key "nathan", the link will be yoursite.com/free/nathan

Role: You can set any of the roles (not Admin!) in your account that will be assigned when this link is used. Each link can have their own role.

Expires At: You can set an expiry date for this, for example, you might want to offer "FREE ACCOUNTS THIS WEEKEND ONLY!" and then set to expire at the end of the weekend, therefore if someone shares the link in the future, it won't work. 

When an invalid or expired link is used, it just redirects back to the homepage.
