MARKETPLACE: Introduction

Your agency may have a selection of products, services, or recurring agreements that you offer clients. You can now use the MARKETPLACE function within your SaaS wrapper to offer these to your users.

This is a new checkout functionality that is available to your logged in users (only. Yes, you can add Free customers, as long as they are logged in).

Your new Marketplace is available on your wrapper url and the page /marketplace (e.g. https://leadgrown.com/marketplace)

This new page has several settings to customize it's look and feel. To access these settings, check out the new /admin/settings MARKETPLACE tab here: 

The headline, subheadline, description, and CTA (call to action) link text for one-time and subscription products are able to be changed here. We have also added a custom code and css section for you to be able to make advanced changes to this page.

The reason for 2 different link text on one-time and subscriptions is Stripe has a limitation that it can only send 1 subscription per transaction call, thus to add 2 subscriptions, they need to visit the marketplace twice. For one time products, they will appear in a cart and your clients can select multiple items, like additional templates, a strategy call, a funnel build out, etc.

Your clients are able to use their Card on File with 1 click to make the purchase without having to enter their card details again.

All products and services are added to the existing PLANS tab, but there are now some new functions within the Plans to show these on your marketplace.

At the time of writing, the image placement only affects the homepage, but we will be adding the image placement on Marketplace shortly.

When a user makes a purchase, these new marketplace purchases will be recorded in a new tab called MARKETPLACE PURCHASES here:

We have kept these separate from the "Subscriptions" to make it easier to manage the difference between your users and their monthly payment to you and these agency based marketplace purchases.

FAQ: 

- Can I add this marketplace page into my Highlevel instance? YES! Shoot us an email on support@ghl.tools with your GHL Domain and we will add it so your SSL will allow the cross site iframe in HighLevel.

- Can users access this page without logging in? NO. Your users will need to log in, by attempting to access directly, it will show the login page first. As we allow cookie login, your users will be still logged in if they have been on your wrapper recently. 

- What's the limit of products we can add on the marketplace? None! Add away!!

- Can we offer other people's products and services to this page? Sure, you will be taking payment and need to execute any fulfillment, but you can add purchases to a campaign in HighLevel which can then trigger any notifications or emails/sms to your agency, users, or the 3rd party provder.
