Order Bumps
Order Bumps, popularized by some landing page builders out there, are a great way to both increase your Average Order Value, but they can also be used on your Wrapper for your agency, to add things like an Onboarding or Setup Fee for your clients.
The folliwing article will show you all of the options for creating bumps, including:
- Adding an optional charge at checkout (like adding a "Additional Campaign", or "Bonus Onboard Call")
- Adding a forced charge at checkout (like a required "Setup Fee")
- Adding a dynamically add on charge to different plans (like "If you purchase a basic plan, onboarding is $x, if you purchase a premium plan, onboarding is $y")
STEP 1: Creating A Plan - Order Bump
Open the PLANS tab and click ADD NEW PRODUCT.
Add a NAME, list your FEATURES (limit to 190 characters to ensure mobile responsiveness)
To create an Order Bump, select "Order Bump" from the TYPE dropdown.
To make an order bump only available if a certain plan is chosen, use this option to select which "Role" (read: plan) this order bump is related to:
1. The PLAN ID not needed on Order Bumps.
2. Default not needed on Order Bumps.
3. Show on Home Page not needed on Order Bumps.
4. Enter the AMOUNT of the Order Bump. This is a numeral. e.g. 199
5. Trial Days not needed on Order Bumps..
6. The Pricing Text is an override for the display of the pricing. This does not change the charge, it just allows you to put some words around the amount to help explain. e.g. "One Time Sign Up Fee"
Click SAVE button to save your plan.
STEP 2: Check Bump Section Headline
You have the ability to change the Headline above the bumps section within the checkout.
